Chairman Ingoglia Unveils Project 29
The Democrat Party believes that they are Ready for Hillary, but I can promise them that they won’t be nearly as ready as we will.
Today, while addressing the Executive Board Meeting Republican Party of Florida Chairman Blaise Ingoglia announced that the Republican Party of Florida will launch Project 29, a campaign to bring Florida’s 29 electoral votes to the Republican nominee.
Chairman Ingoglia said, “The Democrat Party believes that they are Ready for Hillary, but I can promise them that they won’t be nearly as ready as we will. Through the launch of Project 29 we are laying out our goals and strategy to deliver Florida’s 29 electoral votes to the Republican nominee for President. We are gearing up to do more than we have ever done before. From being embedded early on in all communities to building up the technology infrastructure needed for digital outreach, our party will be ready to play a key role on the national stage.”
Below are excerpts from the Chairman Ingoglia’s prepared remarks:…
The road to the white house goes through Florida, and that means it goes through each one of us.
We’re all going to be called on to do more than ever before. We’re going to be asked to knock on more doors. We’re going to be asked to make more phone calls. We’re going to be asked to reach out to voters that may never have heard from us before.
But I know that the Republicans in this room are ready to answer the call. That we’re all ready to put everything we have into this election. And we’re willing to do it because it’s the only way to ensure the next president is a republican who shares our values of lower taxes and less government.
With this in mind, I’m launching a new campaign today to clearly state the goals of our party over the next 18 months.
We call it Project 29
Project 29 has some very clear and precise goals for the RPOF and all of its members for this election cycle.
First and foremost, our number one goal, and the namesake for the project, is to deliver Florida’s 29 electoral votes to our republican nominee for president in November of 2016.
Everyone in this room will have their favorite candidate and we are going to have a long primary ahead of us, but that doesn’t mean we can wait until we get a nominee to begin our campaign. Trust me when I say that the Democrats and Hillary Clinton are not going to wait.
We have to work diligently over the next year to be prepared to come out of our primary with a strong and unified party that is ready to deploy a ground game that this state has never seen.
The democrat party thinks that it is Ready for Hillary, but I can promise them that they won’t be nearly as ready as we will be.
The presidency is our overarching goal, but we can’t stop there.
Project 29 Goals Include:
- Deliver Florida’s 29 Electoral Votes To The Republican Nominee For President
- Keep Control Florida’s Senate Seat
- Increase Florida’s Congressional Majority
- Maintain Majorities In Both Legislative Houses
- Provide Key Election Support For Local Races
- Vertically Integrate All Local, State and Federal Data Sharing and Digital Platform
- Open 50 Victory Offices
- Train Grassroots Activists and Candidates For Electoral Success
