My name is Francheska Markus, and this is my story.
I'm an attorney living in Orlando, FL, my home for the past 16 years. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, where my family was heavily involved in advocating for Puerto Rican statehood to ensure better opportunities and quality of life for Puerto Ricans living on the island.
Seeing the island on the decline, my family moved to Florida so that my siblings and I could grow up somewhere safer, where we could receive quality education and move on to do great things. I am so grateful that my family had the foresight to bring us here.
I know about the dangers of government overspending and corruption. I have seen my island on the decline all my life, and I don't want to see the same happening here in Florida or the rest of the country. I have always been conservative for these reasons, but this election I felt compelled to do more to speak out against the liberal agenda, which would bring more of the same failed economic policies. I work hard every day to bring the conservative message to voters and talk about what is at stake when we cast our votes.
