Chairman Evan Power Announces George Riley as Executive Director and Alexander Pantinakis as Political Director

As Chairman Evan Power begins to build out his staff that will lead Republicans in Florida to victory for 2024, he is pleased to announce the next Executive Director and Political Director today. Longtime Republican Party of Florida staffer George Riley will serve as Executive Director. Jacksonville political consultant Alexander Pantinakis will serve as the Party’s Political Director.

George Riley began his career as a field staffer in Tampa with the Republican Party of Florida in 2008. Since 2008, he has served under seven chairmen and has served in nearly every political position at the Party. He has been a regional field manager, the Director of Party Development, and was Political Director for the 2014 cycle. From 2016-19, he served as Executive Director through two successful cycles for Republicans. Since 2020, he served as Executive Director for Conservatives for Clean Energy-Florida and as a Senior Advisor to the Party. Riley resides in Tallahassee with his two daughters and is a graduate of Gettysburg College.

“George Riley is a tremendous asset to our Party and I’m pleased to have him serve as Executive Director as we continue to make Florida a Republican stronghold,” said Chairman Evan Power.

A political strategist based in Jacksonville, Alexander Pantinakis has worked with dozens of successful Republican candidates at the federal, state, and local levels. Pantinakis has deep ties to the Republican Party of Florida, previously serving as Duval County’s elected State Committeeman, the youngest to serve in the state’s history. He has served in various leadership positions with the Duval GOP for over a decade. Pantinakis has also been recognized as one of Influence Magazine’s “30 under 30 in Florida Politics” and as one of the “Top 10 People to Watch in Jacksonville Politics” by Jacksonville Bold.

“Alex Pantinakis is a great talent. I am extremely pleased that he will join us to help us build our grassroots operation to deliver victories across Florida in November,” said Power.
