RPOF STATEMENT ON LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS OF FLORIDA VS. GOVERNOR RICK SCOTT

TALLAHASSEE, FL- Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) Chairman Blaise Ingoglia released the following statement on the League of Women Voters quo warranto filed today asking the Court to prevent Governor Rick Scott from filling the Florida Supreme Court vacancies:

“In Washington D.C. and in Florida, the liberal elites will do whatever they can to prevent constitutional Conservatives from being appointed to our highest courts,” said RPOF Chairman Blaise Ingoglia.  “Today’s lawsuit filed by the League of Women Voters to stop Governor Rick Scott from appointing Florida Supreme Court justices undermines our long-held judicial process and is taken right from the Democrat playbook.  With three Florida Supreme Court vacancies hanging in the balance, voters beware— this is the first step in George Soros and Andrew Gillum’s plan to take over our state courts.  Who do you want appointing Florida’s next Supreme Court Justices— Rick Scott and Ron DeSantis or Andrew Gillum and George Soros?”
