Re: “All Voters Vote”

“We respectfully disagree with the Court’s majority opinion issued today. The “All Voters Vote” amendment would eliminate party primaries as Florida voters have understood them for over a century and import California’s disastrous and confusing “jungle primary”—creating a scenario with potentially dozens of candidates on the ballot for statewide races.

We will be focusing on educating all voters about how this amendment will limit voter choice, hurt grassroots candidates, cause political gamesmanship by special interests, and potentially lock out an entire political party from the general election as well as NPA candidates. This amendment isn’t just bad for Republicans it is bad for all Floridians.”
