Evan Power Elected Chairman of the Republican Party of Florida

Today, Leon County GOP Chairman, Evan Power was elected Chairman of the Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) with overwhelming support by the RPOF Executive Committee.

Chairman Power has diligently served our Party for over a decade and has the experience needed to #KeepFloridaWinning. Under his leadership, we will Keep Florida Red, Deliver Florida's 30 electoral votes to the GOP Presidential nominee, and elect Republicans up and down the ballot.

"It is an honor of a lifetime to be elected Chairman of the Republican Party of Florida," said Chairman Evan Power. "The Republican Party of Florida is not defined by one person but rather the efforts of all our grassroots leaders who have helped recruit and elect solid Republican candidates starting with our Governor Ron DeSantis, a full Republican Cabinet and a super-majority in the state legislature.  The RPOF has a rock-solid foundation to Keep Florida Winning."

"There's too much at stake this year," said Chairman Power.  “Joe Biden is a danger to our democracy and economic well-being. Open borders must be closed, the politicization of our judiciary must end, and the indoctrination of our children must stop. We must deliver Florida's 30 electoral votes to the presidential Republican nominee to ensure America remains the shining city upon a hill."

Numerous Florida elected officials were in attendance in support of the RPOF, and four who spoke to the assembly were Lieutenant Governor Jeanette Nunez, Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis, Florida Senate President Kathleen Passidomo and Florida House Speaker Paul Renner. Three members of Congress also attended the meeting, Congressman Neal Dunn, Congressman Matt Gaetz and Congressman Byron Donalds.

"I look forward to working with our state leaders to secure victories up and down the ballot. Thank you to the Republican Party of Florida Executive Committee for their trust, thank you to the many elected officials who are in attendance in support of the RPOF, but more importantly thank you to my wife Melissa, son Emerson, and family for their support, ” said Chairman Power.
